Dave, wait—a website for an Amish company?
You bet. While the Amish typically don’t use the internet themselves, they will enlist others to build them websites and other marketing materials.
Twin Oaks Barns has been making gorgeous, durable small barns and sheds for 50+ years. They needed a website that reflected their elegant constructions, Amish heritage, and attention to detail.
We were told to update the brand elements without touching the logo—if you’re in the industry you know. So I worked from the logo’s elements outward. The goal was a site that felt sophisticated and subdued—Amish-caliber craftsmanship without Amish cliches.
This is one of my favorite sites I’ve ever done. It was my first from-scratch Webflow build (I have feelings about Webflow's pricing structure, but building with it is a blast) and I think the site just feels so good. Airy, clean, Amish without being tacky.
Since launch Twin Oaks Barns has expanded their hours and network of dealers while continuing to add new products. Business is good!
