Bees in a Box makes custom furniture with a blend of technical precision and multifunctional whimsy. They needed an identity and website that felt crafted and nimble without feeling like a kids’ Etsy shop.
I designed the logo around the tension between monospace precision and jaunty play. I then extended that tone into the brand and website—negative space, doing more with less, and unexpected touches that are more fun than you expect from a furniture site.
Bees in a Box is still in startup mode, and I am there alongside the founder. We are charging ahead with e-commerce, furniture shows, nifty marketing gadgets, a social strategy, and lots more to come. Stay tuned. 🐝
